Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
VISION:
To develop girls into productive citizens to become future leaders in society.
Girl Scouts recognizes the key role spiritual growth plays in this mission. In addition to camps, troop meetings and Girl Scout programs, girls are also encouraged to work with their communities and religious organizations to make a commitment to the Girl Scout Promise:
"On My Honor, I will try:
To serve God" and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

THROUGH GIRL SCOUTING, GIRLS BECOME LEADERS WHO...
Identify, establish, and achieve goals; use their learned values to make decisions; help create teams and work well with others; network with communities; seek to influence others to take a stand and do the right thing when faced with situations in life; learn business development and etiquette; build and enjoy friendships with people from different cultures and countries. Girl Scouts possess integrity and inspire others to help their communities and change the world.
GIRL SCOUT VOLUNTEERS
HELP BUILD GIRLS OF COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND CHARACTER WHO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE! BECOME A GIRL SCOUT VOLUNTEER! (Adults ages 18 and older)
We are currently recruiting Girls K-5 - 12th grades as well as Adult Volunteers to join our troops at Saint John Baptist Church to work with Girl Scouts to help them develop their full potential.

Whatever your talents or interests, you can volunteer with Girl Scouts in a time frame that fits your schedule. A national membership fee of $25.00 is required once a year to register. (Scholarship for membership is available for girls and adults if qualified).
