VISION STATEMENT:
To be a sanctuary of healing and a voice for the voiceless, where the cycle of domestic abuse is broken through the power of Christ. We envision a church community where every individual—from teenagers to seniors—lives in a home defined by safety, dignity, and biblical love, reflecting God’s intent for peace within the family.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to empower, educate, and restore individuals impacted by domestic violence through Christ-centered support and proactive advocacy. We serve a multi-generational audience, recognizing that abuse affects both men and women and often begins with patterns in adolescence.
We fulfill this mission through:
* Awareness & Prevention: Providing age-appropriate workshops for teens (ages 13+) on healthy dating and boundaries, while educating adults on the red flags of coercive control and spiritual abuse.
* Healing & Support: Offering confidential support tailored to the unique experiences of both female and male survivors.
* Advocacy & Resources: Partnering with local advocates and experts to give assistance for those in crisis.
* Equipping the Body: Training church leadership and members to respond with compassion, confidentiality, and urgency, ensuring the church remains a "city on a hill" for those seeking refuge.
CORE VALUES:
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." — Psalm 9:9
* Safety First: Prioritizing the physical and emotional security of all victims.
* Dignity: Reaffirming that every person is made in the image of God and deserves respect.
* Accountability: Promoting a culture where violence is never excused and true repentance is coupled with restorative action
