Sunday School

VISION:
The Saint John Baptist Church Sunday School vision is to become a Sunday School that transforms the spiritual and personal lives of both young and old through teaching, instruction, understanding and practical application of the Word of God, so that they are equipped to obey and serve the Lord,  making a positive and lasting impact in today’s society and advance the Kingdom of God.

MISSION:
The mission of the Sunday School is to teach the Word of God and making disciples for Christ by creating an environment of love that is Bible based and Christ-centered. The primary focus is empowering each individual through the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit so they can be faithful to the Will of God and the purpose that God has for them to fulfill. All are invited to join us as our partners in this effort.

SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE(S):
Matthew 28:18-20 [NKJV]: “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.’”

2 Timothy 3:16-17 [NKJV] “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Ephesians 4:11-16 [NKJV] “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
Increase student enrollment by 15% and student participation by 20% over the next year, resulting in more individuals joining faith-based programs and measurable growth in Saint John Baptist Church's outreach activities within the community. By implementing targeted outreach initiatives and engaging educational programs, we aim to foster this continued growth, leading to greater individual transformation and an expanded influence of Saint John Baptist Church throughout the community.
